” Σκέπασέ με” Στο μαγαζί δεν είχε αλλάξει το παραμικρό. Το χρήμα έρρεε άφθονο και οι άνθρωποι με τις μάσκες πουλούσαν ευτυχία. Μετά τη Ναντίν, που δεν την έλεγαν Ναντίν αλλά δεν έχει και ιδιαίτερη σημασία, ένιωθα την ανάγκη να μείνω μόνος μου για καιρό. Ένιωθα φθαρτός και σκουριασμένος, δηλαδή κάπως έτσι… Το σύρμα στον λαιμο μου Dredd Όταν η μουσική τελειώσει κλείσε τα φώτα . Σηκώνω τον γιακά μου και κοιτάζω το αχανές τοπίο που απλώνεται πίσω απο δάση με τις κερασιές. Περπατάω σαν φάντασμα, αθόρυβα κι ειλικρινά. Υπάρχουν μέρες με έκδηλα τα σημάδια της σήψης. Την σήψη την αναγνωρίζω απο το σύρμα που αναπνέει μέσα στο λαιμό μου. Κι απο τα δάχτυλα που μαγκωμένα παγώνουν στις άδειες τσέπες αναγνωρίζοντας το κενό. Κι οι κερασιές αντιπαλεύουν την θύμηση φέρνοντας το άρωμα μιας περασμένης εποχής. Κι αν το καλοσκεφτείς κερασιές δεν υπάρχουν. Είναι μια δυσβάσταχτη ανάγκη της ψυχής να αλλάξει τα δεδομένα. Τα δάση είναι τσιμεντένια και οι νεόκτιστες πολυκατοικίες υψώνονται άγρια αποστερώντας το τοπίο απο την δικαιωματική του ομορφιά. Το στομάχι μου απορροφά καρφιά, ίσως για αυτό να αισθάνομα
